There is nothing more fulfilling then having my music friends, new and old to school rock the airwaves with us on 88Nine. It's always a pleasure to hear so many talented DJ's submit sets that spiritually fulfill them. On this episode of "In The Mix" we set the night off with monster track from Spinnin' Records very own Spanish duo, GODAMN & Castion. Their track "Temple" is bass heavy, but really become super fresh when church organ sound can be heard in the breakdown. We rounded out the hour with new music from Riton, Oliver Heldens, and Gorgon City to name a few. Then it was on to my special guest of the evening.
On this episode of "In The Mix" I had none other than the homie himself, DJ Bizzon. If he's not opening for acts like Kendrick Lamar, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, or J. Cole, Bizzon's teaching Milwaukee youth the proper ways of becoming a DJ during his very own program " The Scratch Sessions." Tyrone is one of the hardest working DJ's in the city. Not only can you find Bizzon on the air at 88Nine every Saturday from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., you can also find him on Vocalo Radio’s DJ collective on WBEZ 91.1FM in Chicago.
