In addition to being holiday lights and very nearly holiday concert/theater season, the holiday market portion of the calendar feels like it’s ready to ramp up. HYFIN’s Blackity Black Holiday Market is only a week away, and tonight brings the inaugural Merry Little Night Market from SAUCED to Pilot Project Brewing.
You might remember the organization from its first pop-up event in Milwaukee back in August, when it ventured outside its Chicago stomping grounds to collect 30 vendors at The Cooperage. It’ll top that number at Pilot Project, where three dozen different outfits will peddle their wares from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday night.
“The SAUCED team was absolutely floored by the response to our first night market in Milwaukee,” the night market’s founder, Sarah Freeman, said in a release. “The city welcomed us with open arms and, to thank them for that hospitality, we decided to return with a special edition of our popular holiday night market.”
The shopping experience includes a mix of new and returning vendors from the August market. Among the newbies are Bold Blossom Shop, Jans Journeys Vintage, Sam Thompson Ceramics, Uncommon Wild, and Scaredycat Prints. The favorites making their second appearance with SAUCED in Milwaukee include Dusty Pete's, Love U Candle, BB Cakes and Blessa Soaps.
Besides the commerce, DJ DRiPSweat will provide the night’s soundtrack, and there will also be ample food-and-drink options. If you’re interested in seeing what’s on offer, the market is free to attend, but organizers ask that you RSVP in advance here on the event page.
