The 88Nine Fall Ball is back
Next Saturday, Sept. 21, the 88Nine Fall Ball returns to our rooftop and performance space! Presented by Christie and Bill Krugler, this was one of our most popular events before it went on hiatus five years ago. Well, it’s back for an evening that starts on the Radio Milwaukee rooftop with drinks, appetizers and one of the best views in the city.
But the real good stuff happens inside, when Karaoke for a Cause takes over our stage for an exclusive event with community leaders performing on stage with a live band. We’re talking former lieutenant governor Mandela Barnes, Top Chef star Dan Jacobs, Victoriah Banuelos of REYNA, OnMilwaukee’s Molly Snyder and more!!! But the night isn’t over yet. 88Nine DJs will step up and add to the atmosphere with a dance party built by you! For the first time, attendees will have the opportunity to request songs by making a donation to Radio Milwaukee.

The 2024 HYFIN Anti-Gala
Because we love our events, less than three weeks later is another chance to rub elbows with Radio Milwaukee personalities and community leaders: the HYFIN Anti-Gala, our biggest fundraiser of the year that celebrates Black excellence and Black Milwaukee.
Taking place at Turner Hall Ballroom on Thursday, Oct. 10, the evening celebrates the past, present and future of Black excellence as we come together to support HYFIN’s mission. Imagine a world where the whimsy of The Wiz collides with the boundless creativity and innovation of Afrofuturism. That’s what you’ll experience at the 2024 HYFIN Anti-Gala. This year’s event includes an awards ceremony honoring Milwaukee’s amazing Black talent, fashion show inspired by The Wiz designed by Edessa School of Fashion, dinner menu from award-winning chefs and VJ set from DJ Bizzon to close out the night.
