Hey friends, Dori Zori here with a special guest appearance in the weekend guide. Hopefully you caught a very special Kids’ Disco mix from our good friends at Kid Boogie Down last Saturday. I was dancing the whole hour! But if you’d rather dance in a big, happy group (and who wouldn’t), you can this Saturday at Bavarian Bierhaus.

It's Kid Boogie Down's last party of the winter season, with free keychains for every child with paid admission, a special appearance by the Fairytale Birthday Company and cotton candy from Sugar Spun. Plus, you get the usual party atmosphere: live DJ’ing, lights, lasers, videos and more.

This special matinee program takes audiences on an interactive tour of our cosmic neighborhood, the Solar System. Marvel at the sun’s powerful flares, Jupiter’s swirling storms, and Saturn’s intriguing moons before traveling to the icy worlds of the Kuiper Belt as you behold the latest discoveries in space exploration. The program will include an indoor stargazing session of the night sky followed by the opportunity to ask questions. Not recommended for children under 4.

Maple Sugaring Time

Join the Naturalists during the sweetest season of the year: Maple Sugar Time! Learn how to differentiate a maple tree from other species, practice tapping a log with one of our hand drills, and discover how the sap is turned into syrup. There will be a variety of activities to participate in along the trails. Before you leave, visit the sweetest station of all for a delicious treat!

This program is designed for all ages, children and adults alike. Children must be accompanied by an adult; each child and adult require a ticket. This program will take place both indoors and outdoors.
