Boo at the Zoo

It’s Halloween time at the zoo! This is the second and FINAL weekend of not-so-scary, family-friendly activities like the Trick-or-Treat Trail, live pumpkin-carving demonstrations, dazzling light shows and, of course, animals! All ghosts and goblins (and their parents) are encouraged to come in costume. Boo at the Zoo pre-purchased tickets are required for this event and are now on sale.

Harley-Davidson Museum
Oct. 24 | 5:30-8:30 p.m.
It’s a night of candy, costumes at chrome at this FREE family event to support the Urban Youth Coalition hosted by the Milwaukee Lowrider, Custom Truck, and Vicla community. Trick-or-treat from creatively decorated trunks, groove on family-friendly music from the live DJ, grab concessions from MOTOR Bar & Restaurant, and come in costume (especially you car owners!).

Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee
Baird Community Commons
October 25 | 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Let the gourd times roll! Best described as a pumpkin-palooza, this free family-friendly event at Baird Community Commons features free pumpkins and pumpkin decorating, face painting, photo ops, live entertainment, storytime, fire engines, a children’s book sale and more. Kids in costume will receive trick-or-treat goodie bags while supplies last, and if you mention that you're attending Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee at the Baird Community Commons parking garage, you’ll receive 50% off your parking fee.
Halloween Parade

Oct. 26 | 2:30 p.m.
The city’s Hallowings Festival wraps up with a Sunday full of seasonal fun, starting with the Gift of Wings Halloween Parade at 2:30 p.m. Kids and families in costume are invited to line up near Jaycee Park for this walk through the streets of Greendale that will also feature music, floats and a replica of the Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters! The parade will end by Gazebo Park and is followed by the city’s trick-or-treating hours from 4-7 p.m.

Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

For this final Sunday of October, the normally terrifying Hill Has Eyes attraction tones it down for the little ones with a daylight tour guided by the attraction’s actors. Recommended for ages 8 and 8 up, the experience features a chance to find fun creatures, stop for photo opps and trick-or-treat along the way.
