Bon Iver’s Eaux Claires Festival rolls out its lineup for 2026

Eaux Claires Festival

After not-so-subtlely teasing the return of Eaux Claires Festival with a social post back in December, co-founder and curator Justin Vernon on Thursday announced the initial roster of artists who will appear at this year’s event.

Slated for July 24-25 at Carson Park in Eau Claire, the festival will mark its return after an eight-year hiatus with some familiar names from the Bon Iver universe, a hefty helping of eclectic-ness across the lineup and an interesting wrinkle that will bring writers-in-residence to the weekend. Among the musicians scheduled to appear are:

Friday, July 24

  • Aimee Mann, playing Bachelor No. 2
  • Bizhiki
  • Black Sabbath Cover Band Rehearsal
  • Bon Dylan
  • Hotline TNT
  • Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen
  • Kevin Morby
  • Monica Martin
  • The Union feat. Phil Cook

Saturday, July 25

  • Gully Boys
  • Julianna Barwick & Mary Lattimore
  • Larry Goldings Trio feat. David Piltch and Beth Goodfellow
  • Lil Yachty
  • Nathan & The Zydeco Cha Chas
  • Urban Classic Presents Revelation, a retrospective of the Minneapolis sound

On the literary front, guests will have the chance to attend readings, discussions and collaborations from the writers-in-residence, the lineup of which includes:

  • Michael Perry
  • Sheila Heti
  • Hala Alyan
  • Sean Thor Conroe
  • Kyle Seibel
  • Amanda Petrusich

The creative approach to Eaux Claires 2026 extends to the ticketing process, with those in the Eau Claire area getting first crack via a series of special access codes located at a variety of local businesses, from a pizza joint to a record shop. More widely, specially priced tickets will be available through a fan presale at 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, and all remaining tickets will go on sale the same day at 11 a.m.
