World Cup Watch Parties

There’s no better place to catch every minute of World Cup action than Zócalo Food Truck Park, where there’s a watch party for every match. You can pull up a chair inside the tavern or cheer on your team outdoors on the big screen. Table reservations are not required but are available for those who want to secure a spot. Reservations are $100 for 2 hours and accommodate six to eight guests. To reserve a table, email events@zocalofoodpark.com.
414 Soccer for All
Cathedral Square Park

Milwaukee Downtown is partnering with the Milwaukee Wave to host a free, family-friendly soccer clinic at Cathedral Square Park. Participants will be grouped by age: Mini-Kickers (Ages 4–6) and Goal Getters (Ages 7–14). Pre-registration is required, and spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bring Dad to enjoy great food, cold bier and live music in Milwaukee’s favorite German biergarten. All dads receive a free liter of beer to enjoy as they chow down on the pig and chicken roast, and listen to live music by Alte Kameraden. There’s no cover charge, and reservations aren’t needed.

Juneteenth Day Celebration + Jubilee Parade

Milwaukee’s Juneteenth Celebration marks its 55th anniversary, honoring over half a century of community, culture and freedom. MLK Drive will come alive with the iconic Jubilee Parade, a vibrant procession of floats, marching bands, dance teams and community groups, all to celebrate history, resilience and joy. The festival extends beyond the parade with food, music, art and cultural experiences that bring families, neighbors and visitors together
America’s Dairyland Bike Race

The Tour of America’s Dairyland bike race kicks off this Thursday with the Clocktower Classic. Watch professional and elite cyclists battle it out through the streets of Oak Creek, and test out the race course during community hour (6:15-7 p.m.). The series continues throughout the weekend with the Monument Square Grand Prix in Racine on Friday and the VeloCity Classic in Kenosha on Saturday.

Opening weekend
This weekend marks the opening of most of Milwaukee County’s summer watering holes. Outdoor pools that haven’t yet opened will start welcoming the community for the season on June 20, while splash pads and wading pools will open June 18.
Lincoln Creek Week Kickoff Celebration

June 20 | Noon-3 p.m.
Celebrate an entire week dedicated to Milwaukee’s Lincoln Creek with a kickoff party full of family-friendly activities, free food, resources and prize giveaways. Plus, you can come back all week long for recreational and educational activities like paddling, biking and hiking, and Havenwoods State Forest will be the setting for many exciting opportunities for kids to explore the outdoors.

- June 18: Falls Family Movie Night @ Village Park — Elemental will be on the big screen as you enjoy live music, lawn games, free youth activities and games, free youth t-shirts (while supplies last), a beer and wine garden for adults, food trucks and a popcorn wagon. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs.
- June 19: Davidson Park — GOAT is showing at the first movie night of the season at Davidson Park, so make sure you arrive early to snag a spot, enjoy tasty snacks and settle in for a relaxed night of fun. The H-D Moto Lab will be open from 5 to 6:30 p.m. with free STEAM activities for kids.
- June 19: Martin Drive —- Wicked: For Good will get underway around sunset (about 8:45 p.m.) at the Community Gardens located at (46th and Vliet). Bring a blanket and snacks, and be sure to have the kids use the bathroom before leaving the house, as there isn’t one on site.
