I hate to sound like a broken record, but this week's episode reflects such a wide swath of expression as to render the term 'Latin music' almost meaningless.
There's electronic ambient from Mexico, a vocalist from Spain who is impossible to keep in one category, a Latina country vocalist, mariachi meets Mexican regional, accordions and ballads, and a few surprises. Come along for a sonic ride. You will not be disappointed.
