'In the Mix' returns by showing some love to Hayden James

Cybele Malinowski

Last week, on the return of In The Mix on 88Nine, we dove into the captivating new project by Australian producer and DJ Hayden James. The set showcased fresh sounds from his latest release, We Could Be Love, available now via Future Classic.

James' third studio album includes standout tracks like "All In," "Patience" featuring Karen Harding, "Deep Diving" with U.K. songstress SHELLS, "Make It" alongside fellow Aussie producer Kormak and the title track, "We Could Be Love" featuring electro-pop duo AR/CO.

We also made some tweaks to In The Mix that I hope you'll like. I now host the opening 60 minutes of our three-hour program, which allows us to spotlight the talented producers behind tracks that DJs love to spin and those destined to be future hits. Expect a mix of new music and timeless beats, bringing diverse sounds to listeners around the globe.

For more of the same, tune into In the Mix every Saturday from 9 p.m. to midnight on WYMS-88.9FM, or stream it here on the website and HYFIN.org.
