Formed by siblings Raúl and Paulina Sotomayor, the project fuses Afro-Caribbean percussion, Latin rhythms and electronic textures into a sound that feels both rooted and super futuristic. Their music moves between deep grooves and atmospheric soundscapes, always anchored by Paulina’s refreshing, hypnotic vocals and positive energy.
The track is representative of what you’ll find on their new album, WABI SABI, which dropped Feb. 13. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of finding beauty in imperfection and transience, the record is a textured, rhythmic journey that leans into warmth, vulnerability and sonic exploration.
