This episode has its usual cross-section of music, but it’s also a conversation rooted in community, culture and action — the foundation of local grassroots organization Comité Sin Fronteras.
One of the reasons for their visit was to help promote their fundraiser, Baile Sin Fronteras. Held at Villa Arco on the South Side of Milwaukee, it was an evening of rhythm, solidarity and purpose.
Ambulante y Clandestino and Cozmika brought incredible energy, spinning cumbia tracks that kept the dance floor alive all night. The vibe was undeniable, with community members showing up to celebrate and contribute to a meaningful cause: the organization’s upcoming DACA renewal workshops, a critical resource for many in the community.
