When Kia Rap Princess graced our stage for this episode of State of Sound, she was a little more than a week away from playing — admittedly — a slightly bigger venue: The American Family Insurance Amphitheater at Summerfest. But before she took part in that evening as one of the openers for A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, she shared her tremendous talent with our listeners and the responsibility she feels representing Milwaukee as a Black artist.
