Sure, you watch the Super Bowl for commercials. And the halftime. And...for the snacks?

Here at Radio Milwaukee, we really love our snacks. Our green room is a popular spot to leave a dish or treat to share. We thought, we keep all these treats to ourselves?

Below are our seven favorite recipes and snacks perfect for Super Bowl Sunday!

1. Tarik Moody (Digital Director/DJ/Rhythm Lab Radio/Foodie)

Hot Crab Dip

8 oz of grated parmesan cheese (you can use the romano/parmesan combo)
8 oz of mayonnaise
8 oz of claw or lump crab meat. (preferably Maryland crab)
2-3 scallions (chopped)
3 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
1 jalapeño (seeded and finely chopped)
4 oz jar of pimento peppers (chopped)
Hand-full of shredded Italian 6-cheese
Pepper to taste

Pre-heat oven to 350 deg.

Put all of the ingredients in a bowl and then mix till combined. Pour the mixture into oven safe dish and baked for 25-35 minutes until slightly brown and bubbling.  Serve hot with tortilla chips.

Beer Dip

2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup beer or nonalcoholic beer
1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
2 cups (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
Pretzels

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, beer and dressing mix until smooth. Stir in cheddar cheese Serve with pretzels.

3. Sarah McClanahan (Marketing Coordinator)

Buffalo Chicken Dip

"We call it 'Buffalo Chicken Crack' it's so addicting."

2 - 8 oz. packages of cream cheese, softened
1 cup of Ranch dressing
3/4 cup of Frank's Hot Sauce
1.5 cups of shredded cheese
2 12.5 oz cans of chicken breast, drained
Crackers & celery to dip

Directions: Combine first 4 ingredients and then stir in chicken. Cook in crockpot for 1.5 hours. OR turn up your oven 425 and crank that dip out in 15-20 minutes.

Homemade Guacamole

"I wing it. Last night I used the following and it was delcious..."

2 avocados
Minced garlic
Trader Joe's pico de gallo
Olive oil
Sea salt
Hint of lime juice

5. Ken Sumka (Assistant Program Director/DJ)

BBQ Meatballs

"I like to make those BBQ meatballs. If I'm feeling ambitious, I make the actual meatballs. If I'm lazy, I get the frozen ones at Trader Joe's and drown them in BBQ sauce and marmalade and throw it in the crock pot."

6. Amelinda Burich (Digital Content)

Manhattan Meatballs

"Similar to Ken, my family has always made what we call "Manhattan Meatballs" which is browned meatballs tossed in the crock with BBQ sauce and apricot jam. In my case, I use frozen vegan "meat"balls.

7. Justin Barney (Music Director/DJ)

Beer and chips

"Beer. Kettle-cooked mesquite BBQ chips. MUST be kettle-cooked. MUST be mesquite BBQ."
