I have been a huge fan of Bjork since college, and that is one of the reasons I want to visit her homeland of Iceland. The main reason I haven't visited is the price. But that's about to change, thanks to Wow Air.
Starting July 13, Wow Air will start flying out of Chicago's O'Hare International Airport to Iceland. The Icelandic carrier is offering flights starting at $99 from O'Hare to Keflavik Airport (KEF).
Additionally, for only $149 customers from Chicago can continue on to 23 other cities that WOW Air flies to, including London, Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin, Copenhagen, Berlin and Frankfurt to name a few. Service from ORD to KEF will be available four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
I will be making plans to check out the Iceland Airwaves music festival in November.
