Today is officially Jordan Lee Day in Milwaukee

Today the City of Milwaukee joined 88Nine in celebrating one of its own. To commemorate Jordan Lee's tenure at Radio Milwaukee on his final day as a full-time employee, as well as Jordan's many contributions to the city's arts and music scenes, Mayor Cavalier Johnson has officially proclaimed today Jordan Lee Day in Milwaukee.

Jordan is stepping down from his role as 88Nine's station director but will stay engaged with the organization as a consultant for Paragon Media Strategies, and will assist with the launch of Radio Milwaukee's upcoming Urban Alternative channel later this year. Earlier today, Jordan joined 88Nine morning show host Dori Zori for a reunion shift on air. The two co-hosted the show together for years before Jordan became 88Nine's program, and then station, director.

You can read the mayor's complete proclamation below.
