October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and to learn more about how young women are affected by breast cancer, I hung out with the women of Wisconsin’s Young Survival Coalition.
I talked with Lindsey O’Connor and Merideth Pollaski, members of YSC and breast cancer survivors. They shared how many of these women are dating, have young kids or working full-time jobs… it’s tough to drop everything and focus on treatment. These are busy women!
YSC gives women the benefit of hindsight and an opportunity to chat with other women who have been there before.
