When I moved to Milwaukee over 13 years ago, the first bar I visited was Foundation and lucky for me the place I live is only a block away from the boozy oasis. One of the things I have been missing during this quarantine is the refreshing and potent elixirs that Foundation is known for. Until now.
Yesterday, the iconic Milwaukee bar announced they will be offering take-home tiki cocktail kits. The kits will be available this Friday and Saturday between 4-8 p.m. They only have a small selection to choose from and it looks like it will rotate each week. This week's cocktails include Mai Tai, Kill-Devil (very dangerous), Dark & Stormy, Floridita Daiquiri and El Diablo.
Now, if the weather can warm-up to enjoy these cocktails in my backyard, I will be very, very happy.
