Just as Gaspar Noé's newest film, "Climax," was getting good, it fell apart and built to nothing. The first half of the movie was intriguing, aesthetically pleasing, stylishly filmed and well-choreographed, but all this style led to no substance in the second half of the film.

'Climax' review
The plot: When members of a dance troupe gather in an empty school to rehearse, the troupe begins an all-night celebration that turns dark as the dancers discover they've been pounding cups of sangria laced with potent LSD. This causes their jubilant rehearsal to descend into a chaotic and explosive nightmare as they try to survive the night -- and find out who's responsible -- before it's too late.
