Member support is Radio Milwaukee’s largest source of revenue — and recent events have made it more important than ever.

Every year, we receive $175,000 from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) as part of its nearly six-decade mission "to ensure universal access to non-commercial, high-quality content." Right now, Congress is taking steps to eliminate that support by rescinding the funds they already committed to the CPB through 2027.

More than 1,500 local stations just like ours rely on CPB support to share stories that would otherwise go untold, explore new perspectives with an open mind, and celebrate our ability to connect with each other. In our case, it's what you hear every day on 88Nine, HYFIN and 414Music.fm. It's what you read on our website and see on social media. It's podcasts like Uniquely Milwaukee, This Bites and Cinebuds. It's arts-education programs like Grace Weber's Music Lab.

We're proud to do this work because of what it means to you, and we know it's worth supporting because of how many of you have become members over the years. Thank you for that.
