Listen: It's already been a month since I had Paul Finger in the studios to masterfully tell the unlikely story of how he went to jail. I can't tell if time's been sprinting or crawling. In any case, with the next Ex Fabula coming up this evening at the Bay View Brew House, I asked Ex Fabula to hand-pick a participant from their last event to give us a preview and wet our storytelling whistles. They did not disappoint. Emmett Gross, one of my personal favorites from the last Ex Fabula night, graciously told me not just one, but two great stories. First, he told me his story from January's Ex Fabula, a morality tale about hustling. Then he premiered a story about the time a road trip brought him to Ronald Reagan's boyhood backyard.
