On Friday, April 1st, we at 88Nine RadioMilwaukee kicked off our 2011 Spring Fund Drive. It is the time of the year when we ask our listeners to support this non-profit, public radio station that brings you diverse music, community stories and more. It is a lot of work, but more importantly is a lot of fun. It is also really humbling to see our listeners take time out of their busy schedules to give to the station. It means we are making an impact in the city of Milwaukee. For that, we are very thankful for your generous support.
For that reason, we decided to show you the behind the scenes in a day of a fund drive at 88Nine RadioMilwaukee. Our newest member to the family, Kallao, took the following video illustrating what really goes on behind the microphone during the fund drive. You hear from on-air staff, and especially our volunteers who make every fund drive a success.
