This week on the Seven o'Clock sample we are looking at the music of Daptone records.
We had a great live broadcast with the Budos Band yesterday, and many of the members of that group are also in the Dap Kings. So today I thought we'd look at their work.
Back in 2006, Rhymefest teamed up with his home town buddy Kanye West on the song "Brand New".
This track actually features two Sharon Jones songs from the Dap Dippin' album.
