414 Music | Nineteen-Thirteen | Live in the Studio

A cellist and two percussionists form a trio to push through the boundaries of time and tradition in the chamber rock band Nineteen Thirteen. A mix of old and new technology, the cello multiplies to infinite layers with the steady and complex percussion.

Nineteen Thirteen is named after the year the cello was made. In 1913, Janet Schiff cellist is accompanied by Scott Johnson on drumset and world-renowned Victor DeLorenzo (founding member of the Violent Femmes) on percussion.

We are joined by Nineteen Thirteen today as they perform 3 songs live in the studio.

Tune in!
