Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears....indeed! First Stage Theater Academy provides Milwaukee youth a chance to sharpen their thespian chops with adult actors in the community. I got to play "fly on the wall" and eavesdrop on their rehearsal of an upcoming show, AND I had the honor of interviewing the director, John Maclay, about working with these remarkable young people. Additionally, I interviewed two principal actors in Young Company: Emily Daly and Eric Schabla (both of Rufus King High School) about their work with Young Company, and even coaxed them into regaling us with pithy Scottish and English accents.
