Bay View resident and Historical Society member Nancy Tawney was kind enough to meet me at Sven's Cafe in the heart of Bay View. We talked about the rich history of the neighborhood, including its ethnic diversity, and, after a lovely cuppa joe, I drove (and she biked) over the Beulah Brinton house, which is also the home of the Bay View Historical Society. This home, most of which is preserved in its original state, harbors the
very benevolent ghosts of Beulah Brinton's past; you can walk through the structure and taste the history and no, this is not hyperbole...okay, maybe a little. Here are some photos for your perusal:
