The Made in Milwaukee Festival takes place this Saturday, September 3 rd from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Cathedral Square Par k.
Made in Milwaukee gives community members a chance to get together and meet local artists, musicians, bakers, brewers, coffee roasters, and to appreciate all things Made in Milwaukee.
There’s going to be plenty to do and see during the event. Some of the vendors include East Town Farmers Market, coffee tastings, a kids fair, MIM Art Fair, a local business fair, an inside look at Milwaukee Film, live dance, music and everything Made in Milwaukee!
I sat down and spoke with Made in Milwaukee Founder, Chuck Watson, and MC Oneself. We talked about what the festival was all about, how it started and I also asked why they thought it was important to focus on all things made in Milwaukee and staying true to local roots.
