Passing the Baton tells a story with images, sound, and heart. Created by the Doc/UWM program--specifically executive producer Jenny Plevin, director and producer Ryan Sarnowski, and co-editor Aaron Zakowski, it tells the story of Joe Sims' Milwaukee Striders and its origins. I sat down first with Jenny Plevin to talk about the DocUWM program and some of its projects, and then I attended a special screening of Passing the Baton at the Fireside Lounge located in UWM's Union.
