Eastside Music Tour Brings 50 Bands

If you’re reading this, you must like local music. Saturday, March 2, ART Milwaukee is hosting the East Side Music Tour.

53 local bands will be playing bars and unexpected venues on Brady Street to raise money for the Cass Street School creatures.

The cost you ask? $15 will get you a fanny pack and admission to all venues. For an extra ten bucks, you also get a t shirt.

While out and about at the tour, check out Myles Coyne & the Rusty Nickel Band at Nomad, Jaill at Club Brady or stick around until 10 when Hugh Bob & The Hustle play the Up and Over Pub. No matter where you go, even if it’s Brady Street Futon to hear Connor LaMue or Philly Way to dance to DJ Night Visor, music will be spread throughout Brady Street all night.

Bars and restaurants participating are also providing specials to tour goers.

Just be sure to get to a show early if there’s a band you want to see. Capacity limits at venues aren’t changing, even if you have your fanny pack or ticket.

The music tour starts at 4 p.m. and will last throughout the evening, with the last bands playing at 10 p.m.
