Sound Travels, post New Music Wednesday, was a sonic spotlight on a country undergoing some instablility; the incredibly poor Central African Republic, whose run of coups and corruption is truly impresive. Seriously, this is one effed up place. Great movie from Danish documentarian Mads Brügger, pretty much nails the strangeness that pervades this former French colony (and it's really probly the Frenchies' fault).
