If you've traveled along the Milwaukee River on Commerce Street, it's hard to miss the new addition to Kadish Park.
The Selig-Joseph-Folz Amphitheater was dedicated to the public earlier this month. Operated by COA Youth and Family Center, it is already bringing cultural experiences to a park that was once riddled with crime and litter.
Public performances of Shakespere's "As You Like It" just wrapped in the park, and now through the end of August, you can take in some live local music at the Skyline Music series every Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Beyond the new amphitheater, COA Youth and Family Center has been responsible for extensive redevelopment at Kadish and Kilbourn Parks. The non-profit added a sports field, established a summer day camp, and created a community garden space, according to a release.
