Andy Warhol portraits on view now

If you missed your chance to see the Andy Warhol exhibit when it was at the Milwaukee Art Museum a few years back, there's another chance to see his work up close, right here in Milwaukee.

Right now at Jewish Museum Milwaukee, visitors can see Walhol's colorful depiction of 10 influential Jews who made major contributions to a variety of fields.

Subjects include Sarah Bernhardt, Louis Brandeis, Martin Buber, Albert Einstein, Sigmund Freud, George Gershwin, Franz Kafka, The Marx Brothers, Golda Meir, and Gertrude Stein.

The collection is on loan from the Spertus Institute.

Each piece showcases Warhol's signature technique, and the lively and vibrant works all but jump off the wall.

Andy Warhol: 10 Portraits of Jews of the Twentieth Century is on view now through March 30.  Visit the official website for more information about the exhibit.
