5 things you can't miss this weekend!

Step one. Hear that rumor has it will reach up to 58 degrees this weekend. Step two. Google Milwaukee weather forecast. Step three. Reaction. 45 degrees… wait 52 degrees?? Rumors… I personally don’t like rumors because they tend to disappoint. According to some Wisconsinites, we have a new season Sprinter (Winter in Spring). However let’s not let that ruin our first weekend in April. Looking for some things to do this weekend? Good, you clicked on right page. First up,

Opening night for the 36th Annual Latin American Film Series at UWM -April 4th

The film series will feature a variety of films from Argentina, Chile, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Haiti, and more. Post-screening Q&A with one of the feature films Maydays, cinematographer, Emmanuel Camacho.

Dead Man's Carnival first Friday variety show at The Miramar Theatre -April 4th

Guest acts coming from Philly and Chicago, to musical acts & of course local favorites. Oh, and the given host of your evening, Prof. Pinkerton Xyloma. If unusual talents accompanied by Live American Roots Music gives you the feels. After your night of attending this, you are going to feel like you are on cloud nine.

Milwaukee County Winter Farmers' Market at Mitchell Domes -April 5th

Featuring vegetables, apples, artisan cheeses and much more! Beat that hangover with a breakfast sandwich from Blues Eggs along with a pour over coffee from Valentine Coffee Roasters. Don’t forget to eat your vegetables as well.

A showcase of the cutest, best dressed, and most ridiculous dogs in Milwaukee. Horny Goat Brewery is known to allow dogs on their patio all summer long but now it’s that time to show off the tricks you have been staying up late at night teaching your dog. Or you can be like me, dog less-but a crazy dog lover, so you (I) are very excited to attend.

One Trick Pony -April 6th

Is a pop up flea market and vintage sale, which will be held on Sunday, April 6th at the Walker’s Point Anodyne Roastery. Coffee and shopping? It’s like the perfect duo. Some of the vendors are; Bolted Vintage, Junk in Da Trunk, The Palace, Tina Tomato, Oak and Olive Home, HarlowGirls Vintage, 3 Wren Street. Don’t worry there is many more. One Trick Pony mission is to bring you a unique mix of vendors so there is something for everyone.

Let's hope this Sprinter ends soon and we can enjoy outdoor film festivals, farmers markets, and patios ever more.
