The duo Sylvan Esso are having a great year. They were on tour with Tune-Yards, and will be touring with Foster The People on a few dates later this year. Sylvan Esso will aslo be performing in Milwaukee twice this summer. This Saturday, you can catch them at the Burnhearts/PBR Street Party in Bayview. On September 5, you can catch them at Cactus Club. They even remixed a tune from GroupLove called "I'm With You."
Speaking of remixes, Milwaukee's own LMNtlyst gave Sylvan Esso's tune "Hey Mami" the remix treatment. LMNtlyst took the the sparse and minimal tune and turned it into a 21st century funk fest. Take a listen below.
