In the first hour, We introduced you to a new singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist by the name of Gabriel Garzon-Montano out of NYC. We will play a track from his jazzy and funky debut EP entitled Bishouné: Alma Del Huila. We also have new music from Mercury prize nominee Jessie Ware and a track from the eclectic producer known as Herbert.
In the second hour, we had new music from the collaborative project DJ Dodger Stadium, which features producers Jerome LOL and Samo Sound Boy. Plus the Swedish singer/songwriter Mapei is creating a huge buzz with her new tunes "Don't Wait" and "Change. We visited Mapei's first EP called Cocoa Butter Diaries, released in 2009, and gave you a taste of her rhyming skills. Then we went back in time for some classic 80's r&b tunes from artists like Mtume, Loose Ends, and more.
