In the first hour, we featured a new tune from a new EP from the Australian jazz-soul quartet Hiatus Kaiyote. Then out Philadelphia we dropped a new tune from rising electro-soul duo Marian Hill. Finally, we dropped music from Grammy nominated group Little Dragon, and Rhye’s Milosh.
In the second hour, we introduced you to a new London duo by the name of We Are Shining that blurs the lines between rock, afro-beat, 70’s soul, and electronic music. We also featured new hip hop from Minneapolis collective Doomtree and Seattle’s THEESatisfaction. Plus, we played music from Kelis, Electric Wire Hustle, Dorian Concept, and Gil Scott-Heron.
