88Nine Radio Milwaukee is hosting a Carnival and Mardi Gras party, celebrating the delicious food, fascinating culture and rich musical history of Brazil and New Orleans. Marcus Doucette leads the fun at our Walker's Point Studio on Fat Tuesday.

The evening starts with food samples and samba lessons. Later: music and dancing with the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music Samba Unit, Extra Crispy Brass Band and New Orleans DJ Lil Man, spinning the sounds of the Crescent City.

DJ Lil Man has a love for bounce music and he's ready to take it as far as he can he started his carrer in 1998 playing at local parties and events. then he moved a step ahead when he signed with money rule entertainment in 2000, and started working with artists like big freedia, sissy jay, katey red and other dj's like DJ blaq n mild. DJ lil man plays every week at the vibe a New Orleans shake bar, he plays every week at club huey, and several other places located in new orleans and surrounding areas. DJ Lil Man has already dropped 10 albums in the past 13 years he intend to do more
