In the first hour, we honored Billie Holiday's 100th birthday with new music from Jose James’ B illie Holiday tribute album. Then he headed down under for new tune from Australia’s Hiatus Kaiyote. We also played new tracks from Georgia Anne Muldrow and Ameriie.
In the second hour, we featured new music from Wale’s new album entitled ’The Album About Nothting.’ We also played new tracks from The Very Best, Tourist, and producer Lapalux. Finally, we introduced you to King Mono. King Mono consists of two multi-instrumentalists/producers, who met doing time in the rhythm section of the legendary Afrobeat unit Antibalas.
