Back in 2012, Outkast's Big Boi recruited Phantogram for several tracks for the album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, including tracks like "Lines" and "CPU". It was a perfect combination.
During the making of that album , Big Boi and Phantogram talked about doing a project together. Today, that project is closer to reality.
On Sept. 25, Big Boi and Phantogram will release a new EP as "Big Grams." The self-titled EP will featured Run The Jewels and Skrillex. Read an interview with Big Grams over at Pitchfork. Big Grams also released snippets of a couple of tracks from the forthcoming album via their Facebook page.
