Though he mentioned cars fairly often in his songs ("I got a Rolls Royce, 'cos it's good for my voice") Marc Feld (Bolan) never learned to drive, fearing premature death, which, ironically, was how he died. He died just two weeks shy of his 30th birthday, in a car crash in which his girlfriend was the driver. There's no shortage of great T. Rex covers, I could do a month of Shadows featuring quality T.
