Visit our free “Hispanic Heritage Month” artist showcase on Saturday, September 19, from 12-3 PM at Pick ‘n Save Holt to meet multimedia artist and muralist Mi Salgado and explore her vast artwork collection as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

Mi Salgado is a self-taught artist based in Milwaukee, specializing in gallery work and murals throughout the region. Growing up on the city’s south side, surrounded by a rich blend of culture and creativity, shaped her identity and artistic voice. She began exploring creativity at a young age, learning through practice, observation, and a deep appreciation of tradition, community and environment. Mi continues to create in similar ways, drawing inspiration from the places, people and traditions that shaped her. Mi’s mural and gallery work can be found throughout the city, including at Urban Ecology Center at Washington Park, Black Cat Alley and Brew-Jas Coffee House.
