Elephonic Album Release with Chris Haise Band and The Belle Weather

Elephonic is a band of musical peers with names familiar to the Milwaukee music scene that play mostly Mike Jarvis’ songs and a handful of beautiful covers, both obscure and not-so obscure. In Elephonic, while singer/guitarist Mike Jarvis has remained true to his power pop roots, he has grown a small orchestra to water them. The songs are melodic, instantly memorable and layered. Above all, they stand out from everything you hear on Spotify or Pandora: a 7 piece symphonic pop band from Milwaukee including violin, cello, keys, guitars, bass and drums

“Smart, hook-filled rock…sprawling chamber pop” - Blaine Schultz, Shepherd Express

“I cannot remember the last time I was so impressed with a band that plays original music. Every member of the band is fantastic, the songs expertly written and arranged, hearing so many influences (ELO, Squeeze, Fountains of Wayne, John Hiatt, Jefferson Airplane, Buddy Holly, etc.), all wrapped up in a presentation we haven't seen on a Milwaukee stage.” - Tom Branigan, Branigan Communications

Chris Haise Band

Hailing from Milwaukee, WI, the indie/folk/rock band’s music has been described as “intense, thoughtful songcraft”* with “lyrics so vivid you can practically touch them, (Chris Haise) is among the finer storytellers”**.

Adding members Mark Harrig (guitar/vox), Weston Gritt (bass), Tony Sturino (cello/vox), & Chad Burgess (drums), CHB became multiple award nominees on the steps of their first full band album "Suburban View" released in 2019.

In 2020, the singer song-writer released a solo record during the pandemic lockdown called "The Quarantine Tapes" while at the same time recording the 2021 studio release "Half Of All Of Nothing" as Haise’s exploration of navigating through the uncertainty of the modern world.

Chris Haise Band announced the release of their 4th studio album "Future, Future, Who Am I?" due out May 6th, 2022 while also adding new bassist Chris Dickerson. "Future, Future, Who Am I?" highlights the band’s contagious hook-filled melodies while keeping true to Haise’s Dylan-esque vocals. With pop undertones and a more indie rock feel than their previous releases, it spotlights their musicianship, vocal harmonies, and cello-laced

The Belle Weather is a hurricane.

We are the heavy, rhythmic storm of an acoustic guitar, the deep pulse of an upright bass, and the soaring elegance of cello, violin, and voice. We are the eye of the storm and the damage done - equal parts modern folk and indie rock - a fusion of inspired anthems and the art of simple storytelling.

Over the years, we've taken a great many influences and blended them into a sound that is uniquely our own. We've built a reputation by approaching every stage we can find with a rare combination of gritty, sweat-drenched energy and honest, heart-felt sonic grace. We love doing what we do, and feel very fortunate to have a fan base that is as musically adventurous as we've always tried to be.

Thank you for visiting our site! We invite you to give us a listen, and promise to give you everything we've got.
