Visit our free “Customer Appreciation” artist showcase on Saturday, August 29, from 1-3 PM at Pick ‘n Save Garfield to see metalwork artist Emmett Gross and his innovative creations, while enjoying tasty samples from local vendors and breweries.

Emmett Gross explores the relationship between human-built patterns and natural forms and further studies the industrial history of American Cities. He looks to maps and industrial relics for inspiration to tell a story of the physical, social, and economic forces that shape these urban forms. Gross hopes that his work will prompt the viewer to explore the history of cities more deeply.

Founded in 2005, Greenwood Park Gallery and Framing serves Milwaukee and nearby communities both in person and online. From our 4,000-square-foot gallery in the Sherman Park neighborhood, we offer a dynamic collection, specialize in contemporary African American art, and provide quality custom framing and wide-format printing.

Every Wednesday night, the newly renovated park transforms into a lively beer garden, inviting the community to unwind and enjoy an evening of good food, drinks, and entertainment.
