Milwaukee’s longest-running(?) experimental electronic gathering returns for a landmark moment. On Saturday, January 10, 2026, MELT marks 15 years of boundary-breaking sound, ritual energy, and underground community with a full-scale anniversary convergence at CANNI — stretching both indoors and outdoors, heated by fire and subwoofers built to shake the cold out of the city.
Founded in 2011 by electronic artist THE DEMIX, MELT has grown from an elusive DIY series into a cornerstone of the Midwest’s electronic underground. Known for its experimental atmospheres, forward-thinking lineups, and mythic sense of experience, MELT has spent fifteen years pushing beyond the typical show format — creating portals rather than parties.
This anniversary event honors that legacy while opening a new chapter. This convergence features a stacked lineup of regional artists across techno, experimental, ambient, noise, bass, and genre-breaking electronics. Join us for a winter ritual where heat, rhythm, and community collide.

As if channeling another dimension where genres simply don’t exist, Rainbow Kitten Surprise finds harmony in unpredictability – weaving together lyrical poetry, hummable melodies, and a rush of instrumental eccentricities. Now boasting over 2 billion global streams across platforms, the band first began building their devoted fanbase with independent albums SEVEN + MARY(2013) and RKS (2015). On September 26, the band released their most collaborative and quintessentially Rainbow Kitten Surprise album yet, bones. Produced by GRAMMY® Award-winner Jay Joyce (Cage The Elephant, Orville Peck, Lainey Wilson), the record is both an incredible return to form and a distinct elevation from their previous releases, earning praise from the Los Angeles Times, PAPER, Billboard, and more. This came on the heels of Rainbow Kitten Surprise’s first album in six years, LOVE HATE MUSIC BOX, released in May 2024. Produced by Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves) along with Konrad Snyder (Noah Kahan) and lead singer Ela Melo, the record was met with critical praise from Billboard, Consequence, Paste, and more.

With a career defined by innovation and soul, Miguel continues to captivate audiences around the world. Since winning the GRAMMY Award for Best R&B Song with his chart-topping hit “Adorn” in 2013, he’s remained one of the most forward-thinking and genre-defying artists. From the triple-platinum rise of “Sure Thing” to its viral rebirth more than a decade later, Miguel’s music has continued to transcend generations. Both Wildheart (2015) and War & Leisure (2017) debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s R&B Albums Chart, proving that influence isn’t measured in years but in impact. With CAOS, Miguel compels a redefinition of his own legacy, setting a new precedent for how radical, cross-genre, and cross-cultural an artist’s evolution can be. Now, he’s bringing that same magnetic energy to the CAOS Tour, delivering a show that bridges eras and showcases his evolution as a performer and creator.
