The Best Way to Start Your Saturday. The Tosa Farmers Market is a local not-for-profit organization that carefully curates the best, freshest foods in the region, but it’s more than that. It’s a community hub for foodies, cyclists, coffee-lovers, music fans, yogis, kids — and all their neighbors.
For over 10 years, we've been supporting local farmers, food producers and artisans, & creating a more sustainable community. Every week, the market is home to about 45 farmers and food producers, selling a first-class mix of produce, plants, cut flowers, bread and baked goods, award-winning cheese, coffee, waffles, popsicles, fish, meat and poultry, and prepared breakfast and dinner items. The first Saturday of each month, we also add a Makers Market, featuring a juried selection of local artisans selling handmade arts and crafts.

The 2025 Milwaukee Dragon Boat Festival is happening Saturday, July 12 from 8 am to 4 pm!
The Milwaukee Dragon Boat Race Festival is a vibrant celebration of culture, community, and competition, held annually along the picturesque shores of Lake Michigan. This lively event brings together 50 teams of paddlers from across the region to compete in the ancient Chinese sport of dragon boat racing.
The festival's highlight is the dragon boat races themselves, where teams of 20 paddlers, a drummer, and a steerer navigate colorful, dragon-headed boats through the water with synchronized strokes, striving for speed and precision. Spectators line the shore, cheering on their favorite teams and enjoying the festive atmosphere.
In addition to the races, the festival offers a variety of cultural performances, food vendors, an enhanced Kid's Zone, a Beer Garden, a Marketplace, and activities for all ages. Traditional dragon dances, martial arts demonstrations, and live music provide entertainment throughout the day. Food stalls offer a taste of Asian cuisine, with options ranging from dumplings to stir-fry, satisfying hungry spectators.
