Bleachers will visit Milwaukee’s Landmark Live this September

FPC Live

Jack Antonoff’s Bleachers project has been slowly portioning out the news over the past month or so. In February, it was new album everyone for ten minutes and lead single “you and forever.” Three days ago, it was second single “dirty wedding dress” and a tour schedule with cities but no venues.

That more recent announcement let us know that Antonoff and his crew would stop in Milwaukee on Sept. 27. Today, we found out exactly where: Landmark Credit Union Live, the recently opened venue in the Deer District.

When Bleachers take the stage at Landmark Live, it will have been a little more than 12 years since their first run of live shows, one of the first of which took place at Summerfest’s UScellular Connection Stage. As Antonoff told our own Carolann Grzybowski in an interview we’ll share with you next week, “We didn’t know if anyone was gonna come.”

Of course, fans showed up in droves for that 2014 performance and subsequent Summerfest appearances (2017, 2021 and 2023), proving that Milwaukee has an appetite for Bleachers, particularly when there’s new music to share.

By the time the band get back around to our city this fall, that fresh album will have dropped, adding a collection of songs that Antonoff called “an optimistic record that feels lovestruck and hopeful” in the press release announcing Bleachers’ fifth studio effort. With everyone for ten minutes getting its release May 22, fans in Milwaukee will have plenty of time to digest those tunes and sing them back at full volume during the Sept. 27 show.

Tickets for Bleachers’ upcoming performance at Landmark Credit Union Live will first become available next Wednesday, March 18, through an artist presale you can register for via the band’s website. The general sale starts at 10 a.m. next Friday, March 20, online via Ticketmaster and at the Landmark Live box office, which is open from noon to 6 p.m.
