Thursday for 414 Live, we welcomed Paper Holland to our stage at Radio Milwaukee with tunes off their new album, “Galápagos,” which is out today!
Drawing from the pop sensibility of acts like Death Cab For Cutie, the sparkling guitars of the Cure and the mild experimentalism of Tame Impala, Paper Holland create rhythmic and driving music with elegant horn arrangements, memorable hooks and skillful musicianship.
Paper Holland is Andy Kosanke on guitar, Glenn McCormick on trumpet and keyboard, Mark Yencheske on bass guitar, Sean Hirthe with the alto saxophone, Ted Powers on the drums and Joe Tomcheck on guitar and vocals. We got a preview of their new record, “Galápagos,” on Thursday for 414 Live. Catch the full album release show tonight at Anodyne.
414 Live is presented with support from: Hi Hit Lounge & Garage, The Prairie School and Dave’s Guitar Shop.
