We're over the moon to share our third episode of the 414 Live Variety Hour, our program that is an answer to a late night TV show here in Milwaukee. Think MTV and TRL but all about the Milwaukee experience.
We talk about the city, our community, advocacy, and — of course — the music. Each episode contains never-before-seen performances, music video premieres, and we get to see a deeper side to these artists while also having some very hard conversations in this unusual time that we are living in.
This month we had the positive and prolific Adi Armour joining us from his car, L'Resorts from their beautiful creative haven, the incredible Browns Crew, and Moses straight from the bathtub.
In this episode, we discussed the many ways artists have been adapting in these times with some positive takeaways. Each of the artists also shared how they have used their art to ignite social change in Milwaukee
Not only did we talk about navigating creativity in these wild times, but we also learned about soul food's history and connection with music with Adi Armour, had an interview with the incredible artist Nick Gayzen done by L'Resorts, went on a tequila tasting with Browns Crew, and learned about Non Pop with Moses.
If you missed the episode, you can watch it in full above, plus tune in every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. to hear interviews and performances from this 414 Live Variety Hour throughout September. And while you’re at it, check out the episodes you missed here.
