One of my favorite festivals in the country, Afropunk Festival just announced their 2017 lineup and it is fire!!! The festival brings Black artists from a wide variety of genres together on one summer weekend in Brooklyn.
Taking place Aug 26 -27, headliners include Gary Clark Jr, Michael Kiwanuka, Soul II Soul, Sampha, Kaytranada, SZA, Dizzie Rascal, and Thundercat.
Other performers include Macy Gray, NAO, Willow Smith, Protoje, Sinkane, KING, Son Little, Serpentwithfeet, Sango, The Cool Kids, The Skins, Princess Nokia, Little Simz, Blitz the Ambassador, and more.
