Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish among headliners for Lollapalooza 2023

A skyline of tall buildings looms over a wide shot of a music festival at a park with a large stage in front and a crowd of people standing in front of it.

Live-music fans around here have a couple festival-lineup drops they wait for every year as they make their summer plans. They got a big one Tuesday morning as Lollapalooza released its annual lineup graphic that would make your optometrist’s eye chart deeply envious:

Lollapalooza

You don’t need 20/20 vision to spot the headliners for this year’s festival, which includes Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Odesza, Lana Del Ray, Karol G, The 1975 and South Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together. This’ll be Kendrick’s and Billie’s first time toplining the event, and Karol G is the first female Latin artist to get the poster’s biggest font.

No word on which headliner gets which day, but we do know the festival will run from Aug. 3-6 in Chicago’s Grant Park. All told, more than 170 artists will take part on nine stages. I risked digital eye strain to pick out a few you may have heard on our stations, including:

  • Maggie Rogers
  • Beabadoobee
  • Sylvan Esso
  • Alex G
  • Peach Pit
  • Thee Sacred Souls
  • Sudan Archives
  • Jean Dawson
  • Danielle Ponder

There are tons more names, but let’s get to tickets. The presale starts at 10 a.m. this Thursday, March 23, and you can get in on that by going to the festival website and signing up for a code that will give you access to four-day general admission tickets at the tier-one price of $365. You’ll also be able to sign up for four-day general admission plus, VIP and platinum tickets at that time. After that, any remaining four-day tickets will be part of a general sale at a future date to be announced. One-day tickets and the day-by-day lineup will also be available sometime later.

On top of all that, Radio Milwaukee has tickets to give away. Just head over to our contests page starting this Thursday, and you can enter for a chance to win a pair of four-day passes.
