It’s been nearly five years since Drake’s last headlining tour and infinity years since he played Milwaukee. The Canadian rapper-singer-songwriter brought that second streak to an end back in April, when he announced a Fiserv Focum concert as one of the addition to his “It’s All a Blur Tour” with 21 Savage.
Then, on Monday, Drake announced that the original Aug. 3 date had to be pushed back "due to the size of the production and in order to bring the entire production and the best version of the show to Milwaukee." Fortunately for fans, the resulting delay is a mere 24 hours, as the show will now be held this Friday, Aug. 4.
In the initial release announcing the tour, Drake pointed out that its name comes from the whirlwind he’s experienced in the last decade, including a very busy five years since his Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour in 2018. He put out four albums in that time, the most recent of which was Her Loss, a collaboration with his tour-mate, 21 Savage.
Tickets puchased for the original date will still be honored for this Friday's show. If you haven't picked one up yet, Ticketmaster has a wide selection of "Verified Resale Tickets" available for between $310 and $9,088 (as of this writing).
